Fragments of the formal is an assemblage installation turning materials and objects known from the office and bureaucratic processes into something aesthetic and abstract by combining and distorting office supplies and objects from the office environment. 

In the assemblage all the elements affect one another and investigate shape, room, texture and relation by combining and juxtaposing different materials and techniques. 

It’s an installation on interaction, both in between objects and materials, between sound and installation, viewer, room, hanging, standing, walking, seeing, moving, floating, being… 

Biography:

Rita Barbro Wilcke, Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg, is a visual artist working in the field of assemblage, installation and photography. Through collage and installation, she investigates shape, texture, room and material.

Louise Vind Nielsen (b. 1984) is a Danish conceptual sound and performance artist based in Hamburg. She graduated from the Jutland Art Academy in 2013 and studied at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg (2011-12).
